Conant house

When my clients relocated from California to Massachusetts, they fell in love with a truly unique home — one that beautifully embodies mid-century modern architecture, yet stands apart with its distinctive features: a long skylight stretching across the house, expansive picture windows framing the outdoors, and a striking wooden ceiling that adds warmth and character.

This extensive renovation was a collaborative effort between Moscowlinn Architects, contractor Ray Lemieux, and myself. Together, we set out to restore and modernize the home while honoring its original spirit.

Our work included remodeling three bathrooms, replacing windows, updating the exterior, electrical, and plumbing systems and much more. In selecting materials and finishes — from tile and flooring to lighting and cabinetry — our focus was on preserving the home’s mid-century essence and its seamless connection to nature, while ensuring it feels fresh, functional, and timeless for years to come.
